	Reference library. Much has been published about our Norwegian ancestors and their life in Central Iowa. This extensive bibliography has been developed by Arlen Twedt as part of his Central Iowa Norwegian Project.
	Story County Records. Visit the Story County Iowa GenWeb site for many records of Norwegian families such as birth, marriage, and census.
	Storysoga: The Nordic People in Story County, Iowa. This book is a work in progress by Joshua Ammons. The concept is a bygdebok for Story County. See below for a link to the database supporting this work.

	Kendall County IL Records. This Kendall County, Illinois USGenWeb site contains many records and references, as well as a section on Norwegian Immigration. Many Story County Norwegians were first located in Kendall County.
	The National Archives of Norway (Riksarkivaren). The best single source of online data about our ancestors in Norway, including Norwegian census and immigration records, as well as Norwegians in the 1880 U.S. census. (Hint: Click on "Source Categories" at the bottom to get started.)
	Norwegian Historical Data Centre (University of Tromsø). Some of the census data missing at the National Archives site can be found here.
	Family History Catalog at the FamilySearch site of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. The depth of resources here are extraordinary. Such things as microfilm of Norwegian church books (kirkebøker) as well as microfilm of many domestic vital records make this a major resource for serious researchers.
	Bergen Harbor emigration. A searchable database of those who left via the Bergen harbor from 1865-1930. Many central Iowa Norwegians can be found here.
	Ancestors from Norway. This site by John Føllesdal has a wealth of information to help you use and interpret Norwegian-American research materials.
	The Norway List web site. This site supports the Norway-L list owned by Rootsweb. That is a general list pertaining to Norwegian Americans. It is very high-volume, and covers anything Norwegian as well as other topics. There is not a great deal of Central Iowa activity, but it does cover a lot of other ground. All postings are permanently archived, so you can search those archives to find relevant postings.
